Anthony Miele who was spotted driving a BMW and who was linked with some of the robberies in the city was taken down by the police. According to the police, Anthony was linked with robberies in the South Shore and was linked with some other crimes as well. Anthony is from Quincy and he faced the police when they started to interrogate him regarding allegations and evidence against him. Interstate 495 in Andover which was shut down on Tuesday was also linked with Anthony. According to reports, police had a two-hour-long standoff with Anthony who ended up shooting himself after the long standoff.

As per the reports Anthony was caught in front of the Meuthen Bank and he was chased by the police as he tried to escape. Anthony was not charged all of a sudden but he was interrogated at first which led to a long two-hour standoff. As per the reports coming out, Anthony was not admitting his crimes as he was linked with two bank robberies and instead he kept denying every allegation. It is been said by the police that Anthony was not ready to surrender to the police despite long interactions and negotiations. According to the police, an officer found Anthony driving a BMW and he was outside the Digital Federal Credit Union around 7 pm on Tuesday. A police alert was generated as Anthony was linked with robberies and successfully was caught after a chase.

Anthony didn’t surrender all of sudden but the police chased him and then eventually he went through 495 south and then was caught near Andover I-495 and Anthony pulled into a grass median around 7:10 pm. Anthony was holding a gun in his hand when the police approached him in his BMW. Footages of police chasing and blocking the area near Exit 40 were released where multiple police cars were seen chasing a single car. After Anthony shot himself, he was immediately taken to the hospital but he succumbed to the wound and died in the hospital on the same day when he was caught. Anthony died on Tuesday at midnight. Police have said that Anthony was linked and related to multiple crimes, that is mainly robbery but he did not admit his crimes and denied the police. He was last seen near a bank and didn’t speak about his crimes, maybe he was near the bank to rob it. But, he was chased down, unfortunately, he died but didn’t commit his crimes. Police reported that they were just trying to talk but Anthony was not at all corporative. The long two-hour Standoff ended with Anthony shooting and eventually dying in the hospital.
