As per several media reports, the Nollywood actor has passed away and leaves behind his family, fans, and friends in a mourning state. The passing news of Leo Mezie is officially confirmed by his Co-worker, Chioma Toplis on the social media platform on Monday, 16th May 2022. She wrote on her Instagram account, “Actor Leo Mezie is no more between us. He leaves this world on Saturday in Abuja. At the time of his passing, he was recovering from a kidney transplant. His dead body shifted to Umuahia his hometown. May God give rest to his soul and strength to his family. Rest In Peace Leo.

As per the reports, he has undergone a transplant about 4 years back and was later reported that he had another transplant last weekend when he started developing health complications and later on passed away.
