Laura Ritter-Allio, the wife of Michael Allio died in the year 2019 and she was suffering from cancer. She lost her battle at the age of 33 and left her partner in a devastating state. Ritter-Allio and Allio were known to each other when they were pupils and studied together at Loyola University located in Chicago, Illinois. The couple fall in love and in the year 2012 they decided to tie the wedding knot. Both were living happily together and after a few years of the wedding, the duo became the parents of their 1st baby boy whom they named James Michael. James was born on 9th September 2016. According to the reports, less than 1 year after the birth of their son, the wife of Michael was diagnosed with the lethal disease of breast cancer in the month of April 2017.

That was a sad moment for the entire family. Ritter-Alio stated in her video which was documenting her voyage, “It has been really horrible. It has been sad and heartbreaking too. But I feel that it really needs to talk about it as I am 32 years old. I have never imagined in my entire life that I would go through this 1 day. She used to share her cancer voyage on her Facebook account. The sister of Allio established a GoFundMe page in order to give her support to the family at the time of their cancer voyage and the goal of the fundraising was $25k but the page got more than $73k in the form of donations.
